Lauren Gogarty LMFT
Lauren is the supervising psychotherapist at Sessions. In addition to being a psychotherapist she is a professor of psychology, currently lecturing at The California Institute of Integral Studies. She was the previous Director of the Post Graduate Certificate in Trauma Studies at John F Kennedy University. She has been the clinical director of Harambee Arts Nepal, an expressive arts therapy program for survivors of human trafficking in Kathmandu and the clinical director of the Luminous Healing Center in Santa Cruz, an intensive trauma healing clinic. She has a strong interest in Buddhist Psychology as well as Social Justice & Trauma. Lauren’s practice is largely with the LGBTQ community.
