I am accepting clients
To me, psychotherapy is a process in which the therapist supports the client in connecting to their full potential and harness their own internal healer. I'm interested in depth-oriented work and exploring someone's inner world. I consider myself to be client-centered and see therapy as a collaborative process. Part of this is working in a trauma-informed approach, where heavy material is brought in based on client pacing and aided by recourses to ground and regulate. I like to facilitate self-expression and transformation through art as a different medium for processing. Similarly, I involve somatic awareness in my work and building relationship to the body. Finally, I use liberation psychology to contextualize clients' experience within oppression and privilege and how living in these systems affect our psyches and bodies.
